📧 CAWG Email System – Google Workspace Transition Help

California Wing (CAWG) completed its transition from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace on December 8, 2025. All CAWG members (cadets and senior members) are now expected to use their CAWG Google email accounts fully (if assigned).
CAWG is proud to provide each of our members with a unique email account to support secure communication across the organization and with our external partners.
🔐 How to Access Your CAWG Email

🆕 New Member Account Setup
If you're a new member receiving access to CAWG email for the first time, here is your temporary login information:

Username:
{FirstName}.{LastName}@cawgcap.org -
Temporary Password:
{First 3 letters of month you joined}{Year you joined}${Your CAPID}
(Example: Apr2020$123456)
➡️ Sign in here: Google Workspace Login
After logging in, you’ll be prompted to change your password and configure your account security.
✅ What You Should Have Already Done
All members should ensure they have:

Logged into their CAWG Google account

Changed their temporary password

Set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) at myaccount.google.com/security

Updated their email in eServices
-
Backed up any old files or emails from Microsoft 365 before access was removed
📝 Notes for Cadets

Cadet NCOs and Officers: You must use your
@cawgcadets.orgemail and update your eServices profile with it. -
Cadet Airmen: If you haven’t received a CAWG email, ensure your personal email is correctly listed in eServices.

Cadet Google Groups are being finalized; some group messages may still be delayed.

🔒 Trouble Logging In?

Make sure you're using the correct login link for your domain

Reset password or MFA at Google Security
📭 Missing Emails?

Not all emails were migrated from Microsoft 365

Check personal backups for anything saved before December 8, 2025
🛑 Still Using Microsoft?
Stop! Microsoft accounts are no longer active. Emails sent there will not be received.
